Identifying system-related failures
Monitor index requests to identify indexing failures that have occurred for system-related reasons.
Procedure
To view index requests with system-related indexing failures:
- Listing index requests.
- Click Options. The Indexing Queue Options window is displayed.
- In the Indexing Queue Options window for the Index area field, select an index area.
- For the Retry count field, select
One or more. - Click OK. The Indexing Queue Options window is no longer displayed, and the display of index requests in the Indexing Queue tab is updated in accordance with your chosen options.
