Viewing the audit history of an object
You can track and review all changes that are made to an auditable object by using the audit history feature in the administration console. This function saves time and effort when investigating or analyzing object history.
About this task
The audit history feature in the administration console allows users to track and review all changes that are made to an auditable object, providing a comprehensive record of object activity. By accessing the object’s audit history through the Audit History tab, users can quickly and easily investigate or analyze object history, thereby saving time and effort. Detailed information about each audit entry can be viewed by clicking it, displaying the object’s properties at the point in time when the change was made.
Procedure
To view the audit history of an object:
- In the administration console, access the object whose audit history you want to view.
- Click the Audit History tab.
The audit entries that are generated for this object are displayed on this tab.
- For detailed information, click an audit entry to see its properties.
