Deploying Content Platform Engine instances

Depending on your environment, you can use the Configuration Manager graphical user interface, or the command line, to deploy Content Platform Engine instances.

Before you begin

Perform the procedures in this topic after you have performed the configuration tasks in Configuring Content Platform Engine on the Content Platform Engine.

About this task

When the task to deploy the Content Platform Engine instance executes, the Content Platform Engine configuration manager also configures the login modules for the Content Platform Engine application. The login modules provide authentication information for the Content Platform Engine application. (This replaces the formerly separate task to configure login modules.)

Restriction: You must use the command line version of Configuration Manager if the following condition is true:

You need an accessible software version of Configuration Manager for people with disabilities to use.
