A directory configuration identifies the directory service
that provides authentication for a Content Cortex domain.
Procedure
To add a directory configuration:
- Start the New Directory Configuration wizard in the administration console.
- In the domain navigation pane, click the domain tab.
- In the details pane, click the Directory Configuration
tab.
- In the details pane, click New.
- Specify the directory server type and provide a name for the directory service
configuration. Click Next.
You can select the directory service provider for the Content Platform Engine server. A Content Cortex domain can use only one directory server
type.
- Specify the connection information to access the directory service. Click
Next.
You need to provide the host and port information. You also need to supply the user credentials
to connect to the directory service.
- Configure the settings that determine how user information is accessed in the directory
service provider. Click Next.
You need to provide values for the user information like the user base distinguished name, user
display name format, and related properties.
- Configure the settings that determine how group information is accessed in the directory
service provider. Click Next.
You need to provide values for the group information like the group base distinguished name,
group display name format, and related properties.
- Click Finish to complete the wizard.
