Create a dashboard object

Procedure

Create a dashboard object to display the values you plan to monitor:

  1. Log on to IBM® Cognos® Real-time Monitoring Dashboard.
  2. Under Navigation Tree, select Dashboard Objects.
  3. Select the Workflow folder, click Create Object, and choose Create Dashboard Object.
  4. Click Choose Folder, and choose Workflow.
  5. Under Data Source Name, select Workflow Cube. Click Continue.
  6. Select the following options to specify the display:
    • Display type: Chart
    • Display subtype: Combination Chart
    • Click Continue
    • Y-Axis
      Average Amount - Line 
Total Amount - Bar
    • X-Axis
      Location Dimension
    • Click Continue.
  7. Default name - Average Amount and Total Amount by Location
  8. Click Save.
  9. In the Navigation Tree, select Dashboards and select the Workflow folder.
  10. In the Contents pane, select Workflows dashboard.
  11. Click Edit Dashboard, and choose Edit Dashboard Content.
  12. Select Average Amount and Total Amount by Location, keep the default selections, and click Continue.
  13. Click Save.
