Uninstalling and removing components
You can uninstall FNCMCluster resources and components from your platform deployment by using the OpenShift® Container Platform (OCP) console or the command-line interface.
Before you begin
If you need to back up your data, make sure that you take the necessary steps to reinstall the deployment. For example, make a copy of the custom resource (CR) that you used in the environment. Make copies of the security definitions that are used to protect the configuration data in the environment. Make copies of the PVs and persistent volume claims (PVC) in the environment.
About this task
You can uninstall FNCMCluster resources and components from the OpenShift Container Platform console or by using the command-line interface. If you use the command-line interface, you can use the clean_deployment.py script to uninstall and remove components. After you remove the deployed components, you can choose to redeploy by using the same deployment resources and Content Cortex domain. Or, you can clean up Content Cortex components by cleaning up Content Cortex and deleting the associated deployment resources and the namespace that you used to install the deployment.
