Enabling XA transactions

Configure the Microsoft SQL Server hosting the databases used in the Content Cortex domain to allow distributed transactions in the databases.

About this task

The Content Platform Engine uses the extended architecture (XA) available with the Microsoft SQL Server JDBC Driver for distributed transactions (XA transactions). To make sure that the Content Platform Engine operates correctly you need to configure the Microsoft SQL Server to use XA transactions.

XA transactions must be enabled for each Microsoft SQL Server that contains a Content Cortex domain database.
