Deleting a content cache area

Deleting a content cache area does not delete the directory structure from the cache directory. You can delete the contents of the directory manually to clear the folder.

About this task

If you delete a content cache area inadvertently, simply create a new content cache area.

To delete a content cache area

1. Access the content cache in the administration console:
   1. In the domain navigation pane, open the folder Global Configuration > Administration > Content Cache Areas.
2. Right-click the content cache and click Delete.
