Creating a records administrator group and user
Members of the records administrator group are the only users with the ability to delete FileNet® Image Services content. The records administrator user and group replaces the write and append/execute group IDs. Anyone who is not a member of the records administrator group has controlled access to the declared documents.
Procedure
To create a records administrator group and user:
- Log in to FileNet Image Services as an administrator user.
- Start the FileNet Image Services Application Executive by typing Xapex at the command line.
- Select .
- Select and assign a name. For example, you can type in the group name RMGroup.
- Next to Group’s Members, click Add, enter the name of the Content Federation Services for Image Services administrator user and click OK.
- Click OK to create the group.
- Click .
