Changing content cache area status
Each content cache area status is either open (available for content caching) or closed (unavailable for content caching). You can also set the status to clearing (removing all content cache elements). After the clearing is complete, the content cache area returns to its previous status.

Tip: The administration console identifies the
status of each content cache area on the properties tab for each content
cache. See View content cache area status for more information.
You can open or close a content cache area by changing the status value in the properties tab.
