Discarding changes

You can discard, or cancel, the configuration changes you have made but have not yet committed.

About this task

The Discard Changes action is context-sensitive. This means that the transactions to be discarded depend on the current focus, or selection, in the scope pane.

  • If the focus is on the Workflow Systems folder, all pending changes are discarded.
  • If the focus is on a workflow system folder, only those changes that apply to the selected workflow system are discarded.
  • If the focus is anywhere within an isolated region, only those changes that apply to the selected isolated region are discarded.

Procedure

To discard changes:

  1. Confirm that you have selected the appropriate node in the scope pane. The selected node determines the scope of the Discard Changes action.
  2. Click Discard Changes on the toolbar.
  3. Click Yes.
