Creating application spaces

Application spaces organize the resources for custom applications that use workflows.

About this task

When you create an application space, you assign the security access for the application and create and assign roles to the users who process the activities in the application. You can also assign in-baskets to the roles that you assign to users. The in-baskets contain the work items that the users must process for the application.

To create an application space:

1. Start the New Application Space wizard in the administration console:
   1. In the domain navigation pane, select the object store.
   2. In the object store navigation pane, click the Administrative > Workflow System > Isolated Regions folder and click the isolated region that you want to modify.
   3. Right-click the Application Space folder and click New Application Space.
2. Complete the wizard.
