You can use the Administration Console for Content Platform Engine and IBM® Content Navigator to
verify deployment in the destination environment.
About this task
The following steps describe verification of the destination
environment in the context of this sample scenario. Before you make
the deployed application available to users, verify the destination
environment.
Procedure
Verify that the application works in the new environment.
- Verify deployment of Content Platform Engine assets in the destination
system, both the metadata and instance data. See Verify deployment of Content Platform Engine assets.
Using
IBM Administration Console for Content
Platform Engine,
the administrator checks the DestinationOS1 object store for the following
properties and classes:
- Property template InvoiceNumChar_PropTemplate in Object Stores >
DestinationOS1 > Data Design > Property Templates.
- Document subclass Invoice_DocClass in Object Stores > DestinationOS1 >
Data Design > Classes > Document. The administrator views the properties
for this subclass and verifies that the workflow subscription (InvoiceWorkflowSubscription)
is assigned to Invoice_DocClass.
- Folder subclass Invoice_FolderClass in Object Stores > DestinationOS1 >
Data Design > Classes > Folder.
- Folder Customer Invoices Folder in Object Stores > DestinationOS1 >
Browse > Root Folder.
- Documents Invoice Document, StoredSearch, and InvoiceWorkflowDefinition
in the Customer Invoices Folder.
- Verify deployment of workflow system assets.
The
workflow system administrator uses the administration console for
the Content Platform Engine to verify that the groups defined in the workflow
definition (InvoiceWorkflowDefinition) are correctly configured.
