Upgrading IBM Content Navigator

You might need to upgrade IBM Content Navigator to communicate with your upgraded Content Cortex system.

When you upgrade IBM Content Navigator, you must:
  • Determine which versions of IBM Content Cortex are supported for the version of IBM Content Navigator that is in use. For more information, see Content Cortex Fix Pack Compatibility Matrices External link opens a new window or tab.
  • Update the Content Platform Engine client software to match the release level of the Content Platform Engine server software.
  • You can no longer run the process engine applets in IBM Content Navigator, however, there are comparable features with the Administration Console for Content Engine. For more information, see Replacing Process Engine Applet Functionality External link opens a new window or tab.

    You can also run the stand-alone Process Designer client that can be installed as part of the Content Platform Engine (CPE) tools package.
