Enabling Single sign-on

It is recommended to use Single sign-on based authentication for production environment.

To configure Single sign-on:

Procedure

  1. In the WebSphere® Application Server administration console, navigate to Security > Global security > Single sign-on.
    Specify the configuration values for Single sign-on. Enter a Domain Name. Check the following settings:
    • Enabled
    • Requires SSL (with Domain name)
    • Web inbound security attribute propagation
    • Set security cookies HTTP Only to help prevent cross-site scripting attacks
  2. Click Ok and Apply to apply the changes.
