Configure inbound trusted realms

This task shows how to grant inbound trust to realms. A trusted realm accepts messages from other trusted realms and does not accept messages from untrusted realms.

To configure inbound trusted realms:

Procedure

  1. In the WebSphere® Application Server administration console, go to Security > Global security > Federated Repositories.
  2. Click Configure.
  3. Under Related Items, select Trusted authentication realms - inbound.
  4. You can choose which realms to trust by selecting Trust realms as indicated below.
  5. You can add new realms by clicking Add External Realm.
  6. Select the checkbox next to the added realm name and click Trusted.
  7. Click Apply to apply the changes.
