(Optional) Configuring a forward proxy server

You can optionally configure a forward proxy service between the Content Platform Engine server and the Content Assistant service.

Before you begin

If your Content Platform Engine environment directly connects to the Content Assistant service, you can skip the steps that are mentioned in the procedure.

Procedure

  2. Go to the object store where you want to use the Content Assistant.
  3. In the left-pane, go to Search.
  4. Click New Object Store Search.
  5. In Simple View, specify the Class as Gen AI Configuration and click Run.
The search results display a single Gen AI Configuration object.
  6. From the search results, click the object ID to access the properties for the Gen AI Configuration object.
  7. In the Properties tab, enter values for the proxy server configuration in the following fields:
    1. Specify the proxy server host URL in Gen AI Proxy Host field.
    2. Specify the port information in Gen AI Proxy Port field.
    3. If TLS is enabled, enter the value True in the Gen AI Proxy TLS field.
  8. Repeat Step 2 through Step 7 for each object store in your environment where you want to configure a proxy server for an object store that connects to the Content Assistant service.
  9. If TLS is enabled, import the certificates for the proxy server based on your deployment type.
    1. Import the TLS certificate for the proxy server based on deployment type.
