Configuring the Document Compare menu action

Create a custom menu for comparing documents that associates the Compare menu action to the custom menu.

Procedure

To add the Document Compare menu action to your custom toolbar menu:

  1. In the IBM® Content Navigator Administration console, click Menus.
  2. Search for and make a copy of the Default Content list toolbar.
  3. Provide a name and description for the custom menu.
    For example, you can create a custom menu with name Doccompare.
  4. Use the actions tool to add the Compare action to the list of selected actions list.
  5. Save your changes.
  6. From the Administration console, click Desktops.
  7. Select the internal desktop where you want to add the custom menu that you created.
  8. For the selected desktop, click the Menus tab, and locate the Content list toolbar menu.
  9. Use the list to select the custom menu name that you specified in 3.
  10. Repeat steps 1 through 9 for the Default search results toolbar.
