Preparing your system to use IBM Content Assistant

Before you install IBM® Content Assistant, make sure that you fulfill the following prerequisites and requirements.

Networking requirements

IBM Content Assistant must be able to connect with the SaaS-based IBM Content Assistant and IBM watsonx Assistant services.

The Content Platform Engine servers must be able to connect to the SaaS services. Your firewall must allow the Content Platform Engine servers to access the following URL:
https://filenetai.saas.ibm.com/prod/*

Additionally, the web clients that connect to IBM Content Navigator must be able to access the following IBM watsonx Assistant services:
