About this task

You can find the following usage information for your Content Assistant subscription:

Gathering usage information for your subscription

Manage your subscription plan by understanding the usage statistics for your subscription. The usage for your subscription is the sum of the usage for each of the instances created within your subscription.

About this task

The IBM SaaS Console displays various charts for the following usage metrics included in your subscription:
  • Number of active users - The chart displays the active number of unique users against the monthly limit allotted for your subscription. The value for active number of users resets to zero at the end of your monthly billing cycle. When the limit is reached, the set of active unique users can continue to use the service, but new unique users cannot access the service until additional capacity is purchased, or a new month begins.
  • Number of generated document summaries - The chart displays the number of watsonx document summaries that the Content Assistant generated against the monthly limit allotted for your subscription. The value for number of generated summaries resets to zero at the end of your monthly billing cycle. When the limit is reached, no document summaries can be created in the current month until additional capacity is purchased.
  • Number of questions asked - The chart displays the number of questions asked to the Content Assistant against the monthly limit allotted for your subscription. The value for number of questions asked to the assistant resets to zero at the end of your monthly billing cycle. When the limit is reached, no questions can be asked in the current month until additional capacity is purchased.
  • Total indexed document content - The chart displays the total indexed document size across all instances included in your subscription. There is no monthly limit for this usage metric. When the limit is reached, no documents can be added to the vector indexes for your object stores until additional capacity is purchased. If documents are deleted, or an object store is marked as Inactive, it frees up space within your indexed document allotment.
