Comparing two versions of a document

Use the Compare feature in the Content Assistant to compare content between superseded and released versions of the same document.

Before you begin

To compare document versions, make sure that you configure the document comparison and view version menu actions. For more information, see the topic Configuring document comparison.

About this task

The Compare feature is available for both indexed and non-indexed documents. The feature is supported only in Content Assistant deployments that use Content Platform Engine V5.7 and later.
Note: The Compare action is enabled only when exactly two versions of a document are selected.
