Adjusting the number of queue sweep workers

If you purchased a IBM® watsonx.ai license in addition to the IBM Content Assistant entitlement, then you can adjust the number of worker threads for a gen AI custom job queue sweep.

About this task

If you plan to use the default IBM Content Assistant entitlement, you may not increase the number of worker threads for a GenAI custom job queue sweep.

Alternatively, when you purchase an IBM watsonx.ai license in addition to the Content Assistant entitlement, you can configure the object store to use your IBM watsonx.ai entitlement. In such a case, you can adjust the number of worker threads for a GenAI custom job queue sweep. For more information, contact IBM support.

Procedure

If you purchased watsonx.ai in addition to purchasing Content Assistant and you wish to adjust the number of worker threads:

  1. In the Administration Console for Content Platform Engine (ACCE), go to the object store where you want to adjust the number of worker threads for a GenAI custom job queue sweep.
  2. In the object store navigation pane, select Sweep Management > Queue Sweeps > GenAI Queue Sweep.
  3. Select the Properties tab and specify the number of worker threads in Maximum Sweep Workers field.
  4. Save your changes.
