File compatibility and exporting spreadsheets

Find out which file types you can use with IBM® Connections Docs spreadsheets.

  • File formats supported in spreadsheets
    Teams can work with various spreadsheet file formats in their web browsers. Files opened from one format can be exported to others formats.
  • Saving spreadsheets
    Use the Save command to save a spreadsheet that you are editing. Use Copy to save a file with a new name and open it in a separate window.
  • Checking in a spreadsheet to a library from IBM Docs
    If you have Libraries enabled in Connections Files, you can also check in or submit files for review through IBM Connections Docs.
  • Saving a spreadsheet to a library
    If your organization uses Libraries in IBM Connections, you can save a spreadsheet that you are editing in IBM Docs to the library.
  • Downloading a spreadsheet
    After you edit a spreadsheet in IBM Connections Docs, you can download the file to its original format (Open Document format or Microsoft Office format), to a .csv file or a .pdf file.
  • Printing spreadsheets to PDF files
    You can save a spreadsheet as a PDF file, so that you can download and print it.
