Define and Manage the Connect:Direct Network

Connect:Direct® uses a network map to identify the remote nodes that can communicate with the local node. Three methods are available to update the network map:

• Integrated Connect:Direct Web Services provides a web based user interface to create and update the network map entries.

• The Configuration Tool enables you to extract a IBM® Connect:Direct for Microsoft Windows network map as a text file from the Microsoft Windows Registry. You can then update the network map and insert it into the Registry to apply it.
