Installation is easier and more effective if you complete your planning before you begin.

Before you begin your installation:

  1. Read the IBM® Connect:Direct® for z/OS® Release Notes for the latest product information.
  2. Verify hardware and software requirements. Review Installation Requirements for hardware and software requirements.
  3. Determine whether your system uses a Multi-Image Manager (MIM) or Global Resource Serialization (GRS) system.
