Node Usage Information Maintenance
With v6.1, node usage date and time stamps are maintained in a new US record in the Netmap. There
is one US record for each Adjacent Node (NN) record. Note that there is no US record for the Local
Node entry, but there is one for the Adjacent Node entry used for PNODE=SNODE. Connect:Direct
maintains the date and time for the following events in the life of a Netmap Adjacent Node
entry.
Event | Effect of Event on US Record and its Date and Time fields | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
US Record |

LOAD | Created | Set to program execution date and time | Set to binary zeroes | Set from parameter PNODE.LAST.USED if present; otherwise set to binary zeroes. | Set from parameter SNODE.LAST.USED if present; otherwise set to binary zeroes. |
UNLOAD | Not unloaded | Not unloaded | Unloaded as parameter PNODE.LAST.USED if the US record exists and has non-zero date and time in the PNODE Last Used fields. | Unloaded as parameter SNODE.LAST.USED if the US record exists and has non-zero date and time in the SNODE Last Used fields | ||
