Defining User privilege to Create/Update Proxies

Storing and managing proxies without passwords for Windows domain accounts has security implications. Connect:Direct administrator must ensure that only trusted users are granted privileges to update/create user proxies.

  1. Select Admin > Functional Authorities.
  2. Double-click the User authority to edit
  3. Go to Admin Tab and set User Proxies to Yes for trusted users or No or View to restrict users from updating/creating proxies.
  4. Click OK.
