Creating a Proxy without password for a Remote User To create or modify a Proxy without password for a remote user using Connect:Direct Requester. Select Admin > User Proxies. Do one of the following: To add a new remote user proxy, click Insert. To modify a proxy, double-click the Remote User name to modify. Add or modify the following information: For a new proxy, type the remote node user ID or select <ANY USER> to define a generic user ID. Type the submitter ID, a specific node name, or select <ANY NODE> to define a generic node. Type the local user ID to map to the remote node or a specific user ID in the Userid field. This local user ID must be of a domain user. Leave the password field blank. If you enter a password here, it is validated by the Connect:Direct for Windows server. Note: Enter user ID in UPN format which is a convenient way to specify a domain user’s username to Connect:Direct Windows. Note: A user configured without password is considered a domain user. Click OK.
