Service Definition Framework
The Service Definition Framework provides capabilities to integrate with other systems, both synchronously and asynchronously, and to build composite APIs.
The Service Definition Framework has a number of prebuilt nodes that are used to build integration with external systems. The service definition is the defined reaction to an event/alert that occurs on one of your pipeline transactions. For example, when an order is created, you configure the system to automatically send an email to the customer confirming the order. In this example, the customer order that is created is the event, and the reaction to the customer order is the email that is sent to the customer. That reaction, the sent email, is the service definition.
