Search for a Price Type

A pricing administrator can search for the existing price types that are associated to an item.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Price Type Search screen. To navigate to the Price Type Search screen, perform the following steps:
    1. Log in to Business Center as a Pricing Administrator.
    2. The application home page is displayed. Click the Pricing tab.
    3. From the Pricing home page, click Find Price Type in the Pricing dashlet. The Price Type Search screen is displayed.
  2. In the Price Type ID Contains box, enter either the complete or partial identifier of the price type you want to search for.
  3. From the Recurring Type drop-down list, select the recurring type of the corresponding price type.
  4. Select the Price type is for informational use only checkbox, if you want to search for only price types that were created for informational use.
  5. Click Search. The price types matching the search criteria are displayed. However, if there is only one price type matching the search criteria, the Price Type Summary screen is displayed.
    Note: If the current organization is not a pricing organization, then the Price Type Search screen retrieves the search results of the price types that are created for its pricing organizations.
