Customizing the Sterling Search Index template

In Sterling™ Order Management System Software starting from release 10.0 the ‘Order’ entity is available for indexing through the built-in integration with Order Search. The attributes sent to Order Search for indexing are based on a pre-defined template called the outline template.

The commonly used searchable attributes in order and related entities are included in the outline template by default. You can extend the entity definition to add new attributes to the outline template definition or remove the application-provided attributes to match your search expectations.

Ensure that the configurations required for Sterling Search Index feature, related alerts, and events are set up. Also, ensure that there are no records in the YFS_Awaiting_Index table. If there are records, fix the underlying problem and process them by triggering the SSI_DELAYED_SYNC agent before proceeding.
