Loading sample data
You can load sample data sets to populate your Concert instance with predefined data that assists in exploring features and testing functionalities.
Before you begin
- Any instance level user can load sample data, regardless of their role or permissions.
- Data visibility: Loaded sample data is visible to all users within the instance. Once loaded, it is accessible across sessions unless reset.
The following categories of sample data are loaded:
- Applications: Sample application data for exploring the application view in Concert.
- Build and deploy: Predefined build and deployment records for testing functionalities.
- Package data: Multiple files organized as a separate JSON objects to maintain package information.
- Scans:Image scans, code scans, VM scans, dynamic scans and static code scans.
- Compliance: Compliance catalog and profiles.
- Certificates:Certificate-related files.
- Resilience data: Includes resilience-related files for applications.
Note: Sample data remains static does not change with each release. New features may require
additional sample data to support their functionalities.
Instructions
Refer to following steps to access the Load sample data in your Concert instance.
- Log in to the IBM Concert platform using your credentials.
- Click the represented by ? in the top-corner of the interface.
- From the , click Load sample data button.
- A pop-up window titled Load sample data appears, providing information about data-loading process.
- Click the Load sample data button to initiate the loading process.
