Review the requirements and other considerations as you prepare to install IBM® Concert on Kubernetes.

Concert operators (only CPFS managed OCP)
An operator is a custom Kubernetes controller. A controller implements a control loop that continuously watches the state of specific objects on your cluster and makes necessary adjustments to ensure that the objects are running as expected. You can install Concert using operators.
Supported project (namespace) configurations
The projects (namespaces) that you must create on your cluster depend on several factors. Review the following information to determine which projects you must create.
Installation roles and personas
Only a cluster administrator can complete certain planning and installation tasks. A project administrator can complete other tasks. Learn which role is set to complete each task, based on the installation method that you prefer.
Licenses and entitlements
Your IBM Concert license determines the components and programs that you are entitled to use.
Storage requirements
Before you install IBM Concert, review the storage requirements for the data layer, the shared cluster components, and the services that you plan to install.
Hardware requirements

Client workstation requirements
You can use a client workstation, such as a laptop, to run the IBM Concert on different Kubernetes deployments, including CPFS managed OpenShift Container Platform, OpenShift Container Platform (without CPFS), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), and IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service (IKS).
