Concert Data Apps add-on
Available in Concert versions 1.0.4 and later for on-premises deployments, the Concert Data Apps add-on allows you to construct interactive, custom dashboards to view Concert data as well as data from external data sources.
Note: Currently, the Concert Data Apps add-on is available to
install on Concert instances deployed on an OCP
cluster or virtual machine (VM) only. It is not available for SaaS instances of Concert.
In the context of the Concert Data Apps add-on, an application refers to a dashboard. Once implemented, a new Data Apps page appears in the main navigation of your Concert instance UI where you can build your dashboards from components connected to a data source.
Implementation overview
The following steps outline the process for installing and using the Concert Data Apps add-on with an on-premises Concert instance.
- Install the Concert Data Apps add-on to your OCP cluster or VM. Refer to Installing Concert Data Apps.
- Set up a project in the new Data Apps section that appears in your Concert UI.
- Establish connections with the data sources required to build the desired dashboards.
- Create a dashboard by configuring components within that dashboard to show data from various sources.
- Export Concert Data Apps dashboards to run in an external environment.
