Managing tags
You can use tags to categorize, search, and filter objects in your Concert inventory. Create tags in the global instance settings and apply them to application versions, environments, deployments, source code repositories, build artifacts (images), services, and service access points, as applicable.

Notes
Attention: You cannot delete a tag while it is applied to an object. Remove the tag from the object before deleting it.
- Tags that are imported from a ConcertDef SBOM are applied to the corresponding inventory objects that are defined in the SBOM, such as application versions, environments, deployments, or components, rather than to the SBOM file itself.
- If you upload a new version of an SBOM, the existing tags remain unchanged and must be removed manually if they are no longer required. New tags are created and applied to the inventory objects that are defined in the uploaded SBOM.
- You must be an instance administrator to delete tags.
