Adding requirements to a profile

You can add additional libraries and select additional requirements to an existing resilience profile. This lets you expand the profile's scope by adding new requirements beyond those originally selected.

Note: Concert provides five default resilience profiles that you can apply in your posture configurations. Each default profile aligns with a common assessment scope; for example, one default profile is applied to critical application deployments, while others are based on virtual machine deployments.

Instructions

Refer to the following instructions to add new requirements and associated libraries to an existing resilience profile.

  1. Go to Dimensions > Resilience.
  2. Click the Profiles tab.
  3. Click the overflow menu next to the profile that you want to add in the list, and select Add requirements.
  4. In the Add requirements screen, you can expand Select additional libraries section to browse all available libraries.
  5. Click Select additional categories drop-down and select the requirements that you want to include. You can select individual requirement or use Select all to add the full set from a library. Previously assigned libraries and requirements are shown as disabled and cannot be changed.
  6. Click Next to proceed to each input metric screen. Review and update the configuration for each newly added requirement.
    • Use the Risk thresholds slider to adjust the score ranges for Critical, High, Medium, and Low categories.
    • Enter a Target score between (0-100) to define the ideal metric score.
    • Enable Applying metrics to future assessments if applicable.
    • Check and update the Weights.
    • Review and update Levels, which define the scoring thresholds for this input metric. All values must be numeric and listed in ascending or descending order.
    • Select an Indicators type leading, lagging, or manual to describe how the metric contributes to resilience scoring.
  7. Click Update to save your changes.

A confirmation message appears: Profile data updated successfully. This update helps extend the coverage of your resilience profile and ensures that future assessments reflect your updated posture evaluation criteria.
