Proxy settings
In the Proxy settings page, you can configure a global proxy server with a host, port, username, and password.
To access the global proxy settings, complete these steps:
- If you are connected to another application, click Workflows.
- In the IBM® Concert Workflows® sidebar, click System configuration.
- Click the Proxy settings tab.
You must have the required proxy server credentials in advance.
Settings
Note: These proxy settings apply only to network traffic between Concert Workflows workers and the internet (for example, requests to external services via workflow integration blocks). They do not apply to traffic between remote workers and your Concert Workflows host. For information about routing traffic from remote workers to your Concert Workflows host through a proxy server, see Customizing worker behavior.
The available settings for the global proxy configuration are shown in this table:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
|
Enable proxy for the worker-nodejs-config service Enable proxy for the worker service |
Ticking these checkboxes enables the proxy for theworker-nodejs-config andworker services, which are local to the instance. |
| Host | The host provider of the proxy server. |
| Port | The port of the proxy server. |
| Username | The username that is associated with the proxy server. |
| Password | The password that is associated with the proxy server. |
By default, network traffic from all local and remote workers will be routed through the global proxy server. However, when you create or edit worker groups, you can also configure group-level proxy settings that take precedence over the global settings.
For more information about configuring proxy settings for worker groups, see Worker groups.
