Missing metrics actions help you identify missing metric data and affected resilience requirements during assessments. By highlighting unavailable metrics, these actions help you improve assessment completeness and generate more accurate resilience insights.

How missing metrics actions are generated

During a resilience assessment, Concert evaluates the metric data associated with the resilience requirements in the selected resilience profile. If one or more required metrics are unavailable, Concert generates a missing metrics action to identify the affected requirements and the metric data that is required to complete the evaluation.

Missing metrics actions are generated for application deployments when required metric data is unavailable during an assessment.

Missing metrics action details

The action details page provides information about the affected application deployment, impacted requirements, and the metric data that is required for evaluation.

The action details page includes information such as:
  • The affected application deployment.
  • The resource that was evaluated during the assessment.
  • The date and time when the missing metrics were identified.
  • The assessment associated with the action.
  • Recommendations related to the missing metric data.
  • The resilience requirements that were affected by missing metrics.
The action details can also include recommendations and guidance for obtaining the missing metric data and completing the assessment evaluation.

What to do next

Review the affected requirements and missing metric information to determine what data is required for evaluation. After the required metric data becomes available, rerun the assessment to generate updated resilience scores, recommendations, and actions for the affected application deployment.

After the required metric data is collected and the assessment is rerun, Concert can evaluate the previously skipped resilience requirements and generate updated resilience scores, recommendations, and actions for the application deployment.
