Post-installation tasks and next steps
After you install IBM Concert platform, complete these tasks to prepare the platform for use.
Set up data collection
Each capability collects data from your environment to power platform features. Configure data collection for each installed capability:
- Concert Observe

- Configure Instana agents to collect observability data from your applications and infrastructure.
- If you also installed Concert Optimize, configure the Turbonomic sensor to integrate Concert Optimize data into the Optimizations tab in Concert Observe.
- If you also installed Concert Protect, configure the CVE sensor to integrate Concert Protect CVE data into the Vulnerabilities tab in Concert Observe.
- Concert Optimize

- Configure Turbonomic targets to collect resource utilization and performance data.
- If you also installed Concert Observe, configure the Instana target.
- Concert Protect and Concert Resilience

- Configure connections and ingestion jobs to collect security and compliance data.
- If you also installed Concert Observe, create an ingestion job to integrate with Instana.
