Customizing the platform

As an administrator, you can customize the Concert Operate console to meet the needs of your enterprise.

Complete the appropriate types of customization for your environment:

  • Enabling UI features by using feature flags

    As an administrator, you control some user interface features in the Concert Operate console by using feature flags. Administrators configure feature flags by using a ConfigMap to control whether specific user interface capabilities are available to users.

  • Configuring feature flags by using ConfigMaps

    As an administrator, you can enable or disable selected user interface features in the Concert Operate console by using feature flags. Feature flags are configured through a Kubernetes ConfigMap and control whether specific user interface capabilities are available to users.

  • Enabling and disabling tours

    As an administrator, you can customize the Concert Operate console to enable or disable the Tours feature for all users on the platform. For instance, if you do not need the tours to be available to users, you can disable the feature. If you, or another administrator, previously disabled the feature and you want the tours available for your users, you can enable the feature.

    As an administrator, you can customize the Concert Operate console with your company's branding. You can customize the name that is displayed in the Concert Operate console and use a custom logo on your home page.

  • Customizing the home page (IBM Cloud Pak foundational services documentation)

    As an administrator, you can customize the content that users can see on the home page. You can specify which cards are enabled and which links are displayed in the Support section of the home page.
