Ops Assistant

The Ops Assistant is a tool that simplifies Concert Operate management by providing on-demand operational guidance, troubleshooting support, and system optimization recommendations.

Restriction: Ops Assistant is not supported on the s390x architecture in version 5.1.0.

Prerequisites

  • Ops Assistant requires an IBM watsonx.ai integration for LLM interaction.
    To create a watsonx.ai integration, see Creating IBM watsonx.ai integrations.
    Note: To use this feature, you must run the watsonx.ai instance on IBM Cloud (SaaS) in the Dallas or Frankfurt region.

Configuring Ops Assistant

To configure the Ops Assistant algorithm in the Concert Operator, complete the following steps:
  1. Go to AI Model Management and select the Training tab.
  2. Click the Ops Assistant tile.
  3. Review the summary information about the algorithm in the side panel.
  4. Click the Setup Generative AI to start the configuration.
  5. From the IBM watsonx.ai integration drop‑down list, select the watsonx.ai integration that you created and click Next.
  6. On the Run model page, click Done to enable Ops Assistant.
  7. After the tile is enabled, refresh the user interface.

    The Ops Assistant icon is displayed in the bottom‑right corner of all user interface pages.

Disable the feature

To disable the feature:

  1. Go to AI Model Management. Under the Training tab, click the Ops Assistant tile.
  2. Click Delete to disable Ops Assistant.

    After the tile is disabled, refresh the user interface. The Ops Assistant is removed from all user interface pages.
