Planning an installation of IBM Concert Operate on OpenShift

Review the following information to help you plan your installation.

Multiple instances on a single cluster

You can deploy multiple instances of IBM Concert Operate in different namespaces on the same Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform cluster. For more information, see Deploying multiple instances on a single cluster.

Supported platforms

Learn about the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform versions and public clouds that you can deploy on. Supported platforms.

Hardware requirements

Review the memory and hardware requirements for your deployment. For more information, see Hardware requirements.

Storage requirements

Hybrid storage

Important: If you use Instana to monitor IBM Concert Operate, ensure that Instana AutoTrace is disabled for the IBM Concert Operate namespace. Failure to do so can cause operational issues, and installation or upgrade failures. For more information, see Instana AutoTrace causes pod eviction and prevents install and upgrade.
