Configuring the IBM Common Licensing

Configure an IBM® IBM Common Licensing to administer license keys for your IBM Rational® product.
  • Locating the host ID
    The term host ID is a generic term that specifies the computer hard disk drive serial number or Ethernet address (network ID). A single key cannot contain multiple values for a host ID.
  • Port usage for IBM Common Licensing
    The vendor and lmgrd daemons use several ports for the IBM IBM Common Licensing.
