Introduction

IBM® Cognos® Controller is a web-based financial consolidation tool that provides standard reports to support both statutory and management reporting.

This document is intended for use with IBM Cognos Controller. It provides the information you need to install and configure IBM Cognos Controller on a Microsoft Windows 2012, 2016, 2019 server using default settings. This type of installation is suitable for a test or evaluation environment or for a small production environment.

This document helps you to install IBM Cognos Controller

  • On a single computer running Microsoft Windows 2016 Server
  • Using Microsoft SQL Server for the IBM Cognos Controller databases
  • Using Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) as your web server
  • Without extra security
