Hiding an item in the New menu

You can hide one or more menu items that appear when you click the Open menu Chevron icon and then click New.

For example, you want to remove the New menu items Story and Dashboard.

Procedure

  1. Complete the initial steps to remove a feature.
  2. Click the chevron buttons Chevron icon for Home > Collections > Global menus > New or use the Search function.
  3. Deselect the check boxes next to Dashboard and Story.
  4. Click Select.

Results

The items Dashboard and Story no longer appear in the New menu.
Note: Affected users must log out and then log back in before the change is reflected in their view of the product.
