The following tables contain information on system and software requirements for your machine to install agentic AI service, together with or apart from Cognos® Analytics.

IBM Watson X.AI credentials
  • Active WatsonX.AI account with a project ID and an API key. For more information on creating a watsonx.ai project, see Creating a project.
  • Access to supported LLM models: Meta Llama-3-3-70b-instruct and IBM Granite-3.3-8b-instruct.
Network and firewall configuration Add to network configuration and approve in firewall the following endpoints that are related to Watson X.AI and other IBM Cloud services:
  • <your_datacenter>.ml.cloud.ibm.com
  • iam.cloud.ibm.com
  • api.link.satellite.cloud.ibm.com
  • api.dataplatform.cloud.ibm.com

Also, add and approve the connection to huggingface.co.
