Bullet

Use bullet charts to compare measures against target values.

Bullet visualizations compare an actual measure, the bullet, to a targeted measure, the target. Bullet visualizations can also relate the compared measures again gray-shaded regions in the background to provide qualitative on whether a measure is good, satisfactory, or poor. The sizes of these regions are defined by the maximum range, the middle range, and the minimum range, respectively.

Bullet visualizations can be re-sized to smaller sizes while still effectively conveying information.

Note: Drill-through is not available for a bullet visualization.

The following image shows an example of a bullet visualization.

This example of the bullet visualization shows Value compared to Target on gray-shaded regions. The darkness and the length of these regions are defined by Minimum Range, Middle Range, and Maximum Range.
