Unable to connect to the Cognos Analytics server
If you are unable to connect to a Cognos® Analytics server, it may be related to your security certificates.
- Ensure that you have the appropriate security certificate profiles
- If the Cognos Analytics server that you are trying to connect to is configured with
https
, ensure that you have the appropriate security certificate profiles added on your mobile device. - Manually enable full trust for your certificates
- Generally, Cognos Analytics Mobile uses the security certificates that are bundled with iOS or Android trust stores. If the Cognos Analytics server is using a certificate that is not the trusted by iOS and Android, such as a self-signed certificate, you may need to manually enable full trust for your certificates.
