Cognos Analytics capabilities excluded from Cognos PowerPlay license agreement

IBM® Cognos® PowerPlay® customers who do not have license for IBM Cognos Analytics can use only the shared Cognos Analytics capabilities.

The following Cognos Analytics capabilities are not included with the Cognos PowerPlay license:

• Dashboard
• Event Studio
• Executive Dashboard
• Reporting
• Upload files
• Web-based modeling

A system administrator must deny access to these capabilities for PowerPlay users, which is done in IBM Cognos Administration. For more information, see the chapter about secured functions and features in the IBM Cognos Analytics Administration and Security Guide.
