Heat map

Use a heat map visualization to show the relationship between two variables through color.

A heat map visualization uses color and the intensity of the color to show the relationship between two variables. Most often, dark colors represent high-value data points and light colors represent low-value data points.

To re-create this heat map visualization, perform the following steps:
  1. From a dashboard, click the Visualizations icon and in the System tab of the Visualizations pane, select Heat map.
  2. Click the Select a source button in the Data pane, and in the Select a source window go to Samples/By industry/Insurance/Data. Select the Customer analysis data module and click Add.
  3. Drag the following data sets onto the indicated fields:
    • Gender onto the Rows field.
    • Education onto the Values field.
    • Customer Lifetime Value onto the Heat field.
